‘Win a Chef’ Prize Draw

These Terms & Conditions prevail in the event of any inconsistency with any other communications. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

The promoter of this prize draw is Sorted Ventures Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06346718 and has its registered office at Stag House, Old London Road, Hertford, Hertfordshire SG13 7LA, United Kingdom (“Sorted”).

If you are eligible to be entered into the Win a Chef Prize Draw, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. HOW TO ENTER

i. The competition opens at 00:01 GMT on 19.01.2026 and closes at 11:59 GMT on 20.02.2026.

ii. Entry is via the Sidekick app, where eligible Sidekick Subscribers must actively opt-in by pressing the in-app competition entry button.

2. ELIGIBILITY 

i. Entrants must be active subscribers to the Sorted Sidekick mobile application on a free trial or a current monthly or annual subscription plan including subscribers who have redeemed a Gift Subscription that is active when the competition closes at 11:59 GMT on 20.02.2026.

ii. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

iii. The competition is limited to one prize draw entry per Sidekick Subscriber.

iv. You confirm that you are eligible to claim the prize by providing Sorted with a valid email address to enable us to contact you should you win a prize. 

v. Sorted will not accept prize draw entries from employees of Sorted or any third parties professionally associated with the competition.

3. WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT

i. The final winner will be selected at random from the list of eligible entrants.

ii. Sorted will contact the winner personally by the email address associated with their Sidekick account on or before 25.02.2026. and the winner must respond to Sorted by email to hello@sortedfood.com within 72 hours of being notified they have won in order to claim their prize (Acknowledgment).

iii. If the winner does not respond to Sorted within 72 hours of being notified, then Sorted reserves the right to select a replacement winner in accordance with the process set out above and the original winner’s prize will be forfeited.

iv. The decision of the winner selected by Sorted is final.

4. THE PRIZE

i. 1 prize draw winner will receive the prize as set out below:

• If the winner is located in the UK or mainland Europe:
  • A visit (“Visit”) from one Sidekick Chef selected at Sorted’s sole discretion from Ben Ebbrell, Kush Bhasin or James Currie;
  • The Visit will take place at the winner’s home (UK or mainland Europe) or an alternative mutually agreed location;
  • The Visit will last up to 2 hours where the Sidekick Chef will assist with cooking 1 meal (“Winner’s Meal”) alongside the competition winner, rather than providing a full catering service.
• Or if the winner is located outside the UK or mainland Europe:
  • A virtual visit via video conferencing (“Virtual Visit”) attended by one Sidekick Chef selected at Sorted’s sole discretion from Ben Ebbrell, Kush Bhasin or James Currie;
  • The Virtual Visit will take place at a mutually convenient time and date;
  • The Virtual Visit will last up to 2 hours where the competition winner will cook the Winner’s Meal, with the Sidekick Chef providing guidance and advice remotely.
• The Winner’s Meal will be designed by a Sidekick Chef and incorporate the following:
  • One recipe only to serve up to 2 people;
  • The recipe will meet reasonable dietary requirements;
  • Ingredients will be provided by and at the expense of Sorted.
• Any supplementary drinks, food or other extras are not included within the prize and are provided at the discretion and expense of the competition winner.

ii. There is no cash alternative for the prize and the prize is not negotiable or transferable.

iii. Sorted reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

5. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

i. Full details of the arrangements to claim the prize will be sent to the winner by email within 3 days of Sorted’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgment.

ii. As part of the arrangements made to claim your prize, we will ask the winner for any specific dietary requirements that the winner and your guest have and it is your responsibility to provide this information in full. If you/your guest do not disclose your dietary requirements, Sorted cannot be responsible for any allergies or intolerances suffered by you/your guest as part of the Winner’s Meal.

iii. The prize must be redeemed within 3 months of winner’s Acknowledgement.

iv. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.

v. Sorted does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

6. FILMING PERMISSION

i. By participating in the Visit or Virtual Visit, you/your guest consent to being photographed, filmed and/or recorded by Sorted and you/your guest grant Sorted the right to use, reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, publish, distribute (either directly or through third party distributors) transmit, broadcast and otherwise exploit audio, video and film recordings and/or photographs resulting from the Visit or Virtual Visit in which you/your guest appear or are made reference to, and any reproductions or adaptations of the audio, video and film recordings and/or photographs for all general purposes in relation to Sorted’s work in perpetuity in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed including, without limitation, the right to use them on Sorted’s website, YouTube channel and social media channels.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

i. Insofar as is permitted by law, Sorted, its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Sorted or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

i. By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal data supplied to Sorted in connection with the competition (including your name, address and contact details) may be used by Sorted, its agents, partners and/or any third party suppliers (as applicable) in connection with the administration of the competition. The privacy policy of Sorted can be found here. 

ii. Sorted may publish the name or handle of the competition winner. Your email address may also be used to contact you about the competition.

9. GENERAL

i. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Sorted may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

ii.  Sorted reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

iii. If a provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, that part shall not affect the validity of the other provisions in these terms and conditions, and shall be severed from those provisions.

iv. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
